Black Topsoil - This is a dark, rich and fibrous soil. It absorbs and holds many times its weigh in moisture, helping to keep lawns and plants green during hot summers. Prior to seeding your lawn, we recommend mixing about 2-3? with your existing soil. This is best done with a pre-seeder for larger yards or a rototiller for smaller yards. Helps to prevent your lawn from becoming hard, compacted and water resistant. Brown Topsoil - This is a dense, heavy soil great for creating berms, shaping landscapes and filling in low areas prior to seeding or planting. This soil is also good for filling in around foundations. Blended Topsoil - This is one of our best selling products. It is a pre-mixed blend of Black and Brown soils. This is a richer topsoil than regular Brown Soil. Manure Compost - 50% Peat, 50% Manure. High in nitrogen and other nutrients, it is great for revitalizing existing gardens. Suggested use includes a 3? deep layer in existing garden t o be rototilled in with existing soil. Plant Starter - 75% Peat, 25% Manure. Use for enriching gardens, plants, and flowers. Straight Mushroom - 100% composted manure. Used as a soil enricher. (Do not use unless mixed with existing soils. It will burn plants if used straight.) Mulch - Hemlock, White Oak or Pine. Both are natural color (no dyes) and double shredded. Pine will deteriorate at a faster pace than the Red Oak. Colored Mulch - Red, brown, gold/orange.
