Owner Joe Terra, the Principal Pest Policeman with Terra-X, has over 20 years experience in pest control. Joe's experience encompasses all modes of pest control from fumigation to agricultural pest control. Joe believes in Integrated Pest Management (IPM), which is an effective and environmentally sensitive approach to pest management that relies on a combination of common-sense practices. IPM programs use current, comprehensive information about the life cycles of pests and their interaction with the environment. This information, used in combination with available pest control methods, results in pest management by the most economical means, with the least possible hazard to people, property, and the environment. When trapping an animal becomes necessary, Joe employs safe and humane methods. Joe believes in his work and enjoys his interactions with clients. Terra-X really is a family affair, with Joe's sons and daughter. Joey and Justin handle pest control, handling pest control along with Joe, and daughter, Michelle, taking charge of small animal trapping. Administration is handled by Beverlie Terra. Joe's clients include local businesses such as resort hotels, retail establishments, and assisted living organizations, to name just a few. Joe is no stranger to the removal of pesky critters from private residential properties as well! Joe also makes time for community involvement through the Pest Control Operators of California.
