The mission of Children's Garden Montessori is to foster a safe and peaceful learning community of preschool and kindergarten children, families, and educators supported by the Maria Montessori model of teaching and learning that includes respect, responsibility, exploration, and an appreciation for diversity. Our vision is to provide the community with a high quality, homelike, culturally sensitive Montessori school for children ages 3 through 6, with extra enrichment throughout the afternoon.

Morning program: The Montessori preschool and kindergarten program runs from 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. Monday thru Friday. We give children a unique educational Montessori experience with an individualized, tailored program for each child as well as cooperative learning in our outdoor classroom. Full day program: This includes the morning program and an afternoon program which runs from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Monday thru Friday. We enrich the afternoon with math, hand writing without tears, whole language and phonics, nature, sign language, hands on science, art, music, technology, and more. Before and after school child care: These optional day care programs take place before the morning program and after the full day program. Before care runs from 7:30 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. while the after care runs from 3:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.

Location

The school is surrounded by fields and rolling hills with a natural grass playground. We are conveniently located, just minutes from M-14 and I-275 (across the street from Canton MI). We have a garden tended by the children with an outdoor classroom. Chi
