I have been going to Dr. Kevin Rigtrup for the past 10 years. Once a year, I'm always impressed by this clinic and the way they usher patients here and there so seamlessly. Everyone I've ever encountered here is friendly.

Had asked for refer to Dr. Carlson, but was set up to see Dr. Aprill. I was there to see about Prolia to keep a lot of hardware and replacement joints secure, as my doctor recently retired. H was polite enough but unprofessional when he made it quite clear that the stability of my hardware was not his concern. That is ridiculous when the medication needed is to keep the bones from becoming more osteoporotic. Spent more time talking about my heart issues which are being treated, but ordered a bone density test after I made it absolutely clear that I had not repeated one for several years now that I cannot lie flat for the time required for that machine. Dr. Aprill is the second physician I have seen in different Frist Clinic offices that does NOT listen to the patient even when they present documentation! I certainly hope that all Endocrinologists are not like him.

Dr. Aprill's staff is good but he's not. He's grumpy all the time and doesn't seem to care whether I was getting better or not. In fact, he criticized me for not getting better! I understand that doctor's need patients to be cooperative, but they should never treat you like an unruly child. This guy needs to be working in the morgue not the 3rd floor! That way he wouldn't offend his patients! After I left in tears I found another doctor and am much, much happier now. You should avoid this sourpuss--there are many better doctors in Nashville!
