Way to GO Idaho Water Sports

We purchased our first boat from Idaho Water Sports in Nampa. From the minute we walked in to this day I have nothing but good things to say. They have done everything be sure we are happy and satisfied. We have used their service department and they have delivered on time without issue. They are focused on the customer and our entire family feels welcome there. Looking forward to a great season of being on the lake, thanks Idaho Water Sports.

Fantastic Customer Service

I've been into Idaho Water Sports in both Burley and Nampa. They have A+ service, hands down they took care of me and my family in both stores. The Nampa one is a little difficult to find but its worth it to find, just Google the address and its pretty simple to find.

Terrible service!

We took our 1998 Malibu Response into Idaho Water Sports in Nampa ID for summarization after having it winterized by that dealer. We dropped the boat off but had forgotten to take the boat key. We said we’ll return with the key later that day with the key but the dealer said they did not need it and would be able to start the boat. We were told that it needed a new impellor and the part had to be ordered. We were also told that it would be okay to use the boat until the impellor arrived. We took the boat up to the lake the next day and it would not start due to a dead battery. When we called the dealer they pretty much said there was something wrong with the battery. The battery was less than a year old and why they didn’t say something about it when we picked up the boat is a mystery. We dropped off the boat again at Idaho Water Sports in Nampa for the impellor replacement. Next day out on the water again and halfway across the lake the impellor hose came off and started filling the b

Idaho Water Sports serviced our boat but short-circuited the boats electrical system that caused the boats battery to go bad. Also due to sloppy mechanical work on replacing the impellor they were lucky it didnt do permanent damage! Even though Idaho Water Sports is the dealer for our model of boat we are NEVER having work done there again due to poor mechanical work and even worst customer relations. Terrible service!

I have always had great service at Idaho Watersports. They are more than fair with their pricing and carry great lines and thankfully, are starting to cater to girls a little more(-;

DETAILS
General Info
The great state of Idaho is home to some very beautiful waterways perfect for recreational boating and water sports. Gordy Hansen believes owning a boat is an ideal way for families and friends to enjoy the state's rivers and mountain lakes, and he strives to make this possible with his business, Idaho Water Sports, in Burley. Idaho Water Sports is a boat dealership that carries luxury ski boats and cruisers including Malibu, Moomba, Supra and Chaparral. The store also sells boating accessories, sportswear, water skis and, for frozen water, snowboards and snow skis. Gordy's father, Kenneth Hansen, originally opened the store 20 years ago as Pinetree Sports. Gordy worked at the business during his breaks from college, and after he graduated, he purchased the company, later changing the name to Idaho Water Sports. Inventory has evolved over its 20-year history, from bicycles, sporting goods and power sports to focusing primarily on high-end boat lines and marine service and repair. In 2002, the company expanded to a second location in Nampa. In March of 2006 a new dealership was constructed along Interstate-84, and freeway traffic has been good for business. Expanding to the Treasure Valley was a big step for Gordy and his staff but the many years of hard work have paid off with strong sales and loyal customers. Idaho Water Sports promotes the boating lifestyle by offering instructional clinics on waterskiing and wakeboarding. Employees also organize free water sports equipment demo events and sponsor wakeboard competitions that draw participants from across the country. Customers are encouraged to test drive their boats before purchase, and new boat owners are given an on-water orientation. Gordy credits his employees for the success Idaho Water Sports has experienced thus far. The technicians and salespeople have the training and practical experience to assist clients in the best way possible. Idaho Water Sports is dedicated to making boat ownership a fun, easy way to experience Idaho's beautiful waterways.
