It used to be a decent Indian restaurant and good lunch buffet. Recently the quality of the food has dropped significantly, especially the buffet. Rahjbog Cafe down Davis drive is much better.

Terrible!!! I can"t believe they are using a NJ restaurant website for their NC restaurant. They have the worst sanitation scores. Food is so overpriced for the portions and service. There is no one who knows the wines or how to mix cocktails. Non English speaking waiters and no manager in charge. Looks like some inexperienced IT person is running this place. They treat all the customers like a herd of cattle duirng the lunch buffet.....better choice in town..really.

No matter when we go lunch or late dinner we always enjoy the food.
Service is exceptional and food is delicious and fresh.
Lunch Buffett is well worth the price and the owner is wonderful. He spoils his regulars with complimentary smoothies and desserts.

Do not plan on eating there if you're paying with a gift certificate! I bought one and when the manager felt like it, they changed their policy and no longer accepted them there! It was mortifying because the certificate was bought for a family member, and that family member went to eat there (it will be their last time) and was told it wasn't accepted. It is not my responsibility to make sure that restaurant.com is to take Saffron off of their site, but Saffron of Morrisville's responsibility. What poor business dealings. When I called to inquire about the certificate that was turned away, I was yelled at by the manager and told there was nothing he could do about it. I have never been treated so rudely. I will never go there to eat, and I have heard from many of my friends and family that they too have had issues each time they go there. Beware and know what you're getting yourself into!

Great food! They need to improve on customer relations though. They need to pay more attention to their Guests. Drop prices or increase portions. They do have a great yogurt salad. I would go back.

I am Indian, My name is Ashish Pandey, I am Basically from Mumbai ,india and I regularly have Indian food outside. I've been to other Indian restaurants in the area and had a decent experience ,I wanted the best Indian food for my wedding because my Wife's parents are from India and we picked in this Indian Restaurant in down town because we have tried many Indian restaurants and we found this restaurant to be the best amongst the lot. The on site tandoor with exceptional decoration and live sitar and tabla music and buffet setup we loved it all. When we went to the restaurant to settle the bill we were asked to share our experience with others and I thought of writting on the net. I can not thank anymore when I told the owners to give special attantion because I want my mother in law to be impressed and she was really impressed and I am glad we picked this indian restaurant to cater the wedding.The customer service was great.
