Stanislaus County Behavioral Health & Recovery Services administers and promotes a variety of community-based medical programs and related services. It provides behavioral health care services to children, youths and adults with mental illness and emotional disturbances. The department additionally offers outpatient and residential treatment solutions for patients suffering from alcohol and drug addictions. It provides therapeutic care, case management, medication administration, crisis intervention, consulting and emergency services. The department also offers counseling solutions in cases related to domestic violence, substance abuse and sexual assault for children and their families. Stanislaus County Behavioral Health & Recovery Services coordinates more than 80 educational and health care promotion programs. It is a part of the government of Stanislaus County in California.
