I went here for a vehicle inspection on a truck that I wanted to buy. They did the inspection and missed several major leaks that would have changed my mind about buying the vehicle. The mechanic said that the vehicle was in great mechanical condition so I bought it and then the clutch went out and the rear pinion seal had been leaking as well as a front shock, so, as a result i sustained over $3000 dollars in repairs to the truck as a result of there negligence. They also did not put much in writing. when I talked to the owner he did not want to compensate me for any of the damages. I would not advise anyone to go here as they do not stand behind there work and I know others that have had trouble here. ( only wish I had known about them before I went there)

When I lived in Msla I was a loyal customer and they always delivered. I now live in WA and on a trip back to Msl I had a drive axle fail that had just been replaced before I left WA. I limped into A.C.E. and they replaced it free of charge as both shops were NAPA waranteed. Can't beat that!

My daughter had engine problems on her Honda Civic before she was leaving UM Missoula to drive to Michigan. Automotive Cutting Edge fixed her car for a very reasonable price, and were very professional and competent. They even called us a few days later to make sure she made it home ok.I would recommend this shop to anyone, and I wish they were in my city. 5 stars all the way.

I would! If you value your time, money and sanity choose another business to repair your vehicle. It took over six months, insurance claims and near litigation to get a unsatisfying resolution on a failed engine repair that should have been covered under their warranty. Throughout the process I spent countless hours on the phone and away from work with attorneys, other repair shops, insurance companies and adjusters all to resolve an issue that, in my opinion, should have been taken care of by them. Bottomline, my advice, choose another business for your repair needs, it will probably save years on your life.

I stopped into ACE because I was driving from Seattle to Billings and my car was overheating. I had to be in Billings that night, I didn't know anyone in Missoula, and I didn't have very much money/time. I stopped in, they checked it out for about 30 min, added some coolant and gave me some advice, and only charged me for the coolant! They totally came to the rescue for me. Great guys!

Nightmare. They completely blew my engine! I was initially impressed that the owner himself IS involved in each case and they have great customer service, but I have three kids and no alternate transportation and no idea how I'm going to get around until they can replace my engine. I definitely don't recommend.

In an industry where trust is sometimes an issue, know that the gentlemen at Automotive Cutting Edge will give you an honest answer to your vehicle problems. The owner is hands on and does great work.
