Make sure you ask for an itemized receipt or slip that shows what you dropped off at the cleaners.

I didn't ask for one and did not get a $70 shirt back from the cleaners. When I asked about it, they said there wasn't a record of the shirt. And I had no documentation to prove them otherwise, and am now out a $70 shirt!



Needless to say, I found another drycleaners that actually cost less, has not lost or taken any of my items, and return clothes sooner!
