Stan's doesn't even deserve one star!!! Let me share my experience. I took a chainsaw in that was running, but needed a new fuel line. I dropped it off and was told they would have to look around, find a fuel line and get me a quote. After 3 days I went back in and they told me they had not looked at it, but that they were a week to 10 days out. (No biggie, would have been nice to know that sooner) I explained that I would take the saw and do the work with my dad. Stan's Mechanic picked up the saw which was still wrapped in the same plastic I dropped it off in. He takes the saw over to his lift (work area) and said let me take a quick look... he pulls the face off the exhaust and shines a light into the piston, says "yep, take a look". I look in to see the piston, he told me I ruined the saw by putting the wrong fuel in it. He handed me the exhaust face and screws and wanted me to take tha saw back in pieces. I had him put it back like he found it before I took the saw back. He then tried to guilt me into paying for his time...As I left he said the saw would never run again and I would have to get a new saw. I drove straight to D&B supply, bought a fuel line, went home and replaced it within an hour. I started the saw within a couple pulls and it runs like new! All around unimpressed with Stans!!!! Avoid at all costs. I'm thinking about going to the Better Business Bureau...

Horrible service. Brought in lawnmowers for trade in and given nothing in return. Asked to wait for 3 weeks only to be asked to pay full price on a piece of junk. You go in to visit and they tell you you interrupted their work so now you have to come back another day. They tell you they will call you but never return the calls when they say they will. I think they believe reputable service is the amount of lawn mowers they sale. Believe me that's not the most important thing.

Provided by DexKnowsI brought my mower in to have it serviced and was very pleased with the customer service. The staff was very knowledgeable and courteous. I was charged a fair price and was very pleased with the overall experience! I would definitly bring my mower back here in the future.

Provided by DexKnowsI brought my old lawn mower in to get the blade replaced because I couldn't find a replacement one myself. When I returned to pick it up, he had my mower in the back. He told me the motor was shot and offered to sell me another mower. I told him that my mower ran great and I just wanted him to replace the blade. When I returned again, he finally had it ready, but he had written $50.00 on the work order for labor and $27.00 for the blade ($50.00 to replace a blade?!?). He quickly crossed out the $50.00 when he noticed I had my husband with me. He seemed to think that just because I was a woman, I didn't know how easy it is to change a lawn mower blade, or that I don't know a good-running lawn mower when I see it. News flash, buddy - I do most of my own car repairs myself. I think I can handle a small engine, too. I just don't have the connections with parts places like he does to find a blade for my old mower.
