I received a gift from Christina's. However, it was not at all my style so I wanted to return it and thought this would be a great chance to check out the shop. Before going to the store I called to make sure they would let the item be returned. I did not have a receipt since it was a gift but I had the original box and the item still had the original Christina's tags. They said it would be no problem to exchange for store credit. I said I wanted to make sure because I was driving from out of town. The girl on the phone was very helpful and assured me that it would be taken in exchange for store credit. I drove 2 hours so imagine my surprise when I arrived and was told that I could not return the item! The sales girl said it was a seasonal winter item and they could not take it back. I asked her if she could check with someone else because I had called first and then just drove 2 hours. She got quite rude at that point but did go and call Christina herself. So again, imagine my complete disbelief when she came back and said "Just as I told you, she said No." I was stunned. The girl I talked with did acknowledge that she had spoken with me and told me that. The two girls then began arguing about the return policy. The one saying in my defense that there is no reason why we would not take it back and she had never been told that before on any item! If an item is in perfect condition with your tags still on it I see no reason why you would not take it back. Sell it the next season if need be! That is what successful shops do. However, my biggest disappointment was that they would not absorb the responsibility of the employee that promised me I could return it before I made the drive. As a business owner you must stand behind what your employee says if you want people to respect your business. Trust me I was prepared to spend far more than the cost of the item I was returning! Very poor business standards. I can see why this shop has so many bad reviews. I will never go there again.

they carry every size - from size 2-18!the sales people are very easy to approach and ask for help!i bought$500.00 worth of clothing - and unlike most boutiques where you would walk out with 2 tops for $500.00 - i walked out with 4 tops, 5 pants, 2 pairs of shoes and 4 necklaces!i will go back when im in merced the next time!
