Founded in 1983, RMS provides community-based support services to children, adolescents and adults with developmental, emotional, physical, employment and social needs. It provides long-term care to persons with mental retardation and developmental disabilities. In addition, it also provides residential support. It also assists individuals in nutrition and diet management. Additionally, it provides a variety of health education and recreational programs. It has trained and experienced staff that assists with scheduling medical and counseling appointments. Additionally, it provides management and support services, including payroll, account payables and receivable functions, drafting financial reports, assistance with personnel issues, and internal and external audits. In addition, it provides individual service plans and employment opportunities. RMS has locations in Lima, Rocky River, Worthington, Ohio and Warwick, R.I.
