They are horrible and i would not recommend this company to anyone! They have the worst coustomer service I have ever had to deal with. They damaged my wall and some of my stuff, the manager's response was "the movers are only human," and it has taken them over a month to respomnd to me about coming out to fix my stuff. If you want your move to be pleasant and free of stress do not use this company!

Overcharged me, didn't wrap my furniture or provide floor runners and doorway protection like the contract stated, broke my bookshelf, and would not move my punching bag (even though it was okay'd in the quote I was given). When I complained to management, not only did I get yelled at by the owner, essentially called a liar, and was not given any feedback on if they'd be refunding what they overcharged, I decided to file a complaint with the BBB. Well, that sure got the owner to email me very quickly...yelling at me in all caps, and telling me I was wasting his time. He even had the nerve to call out MY work ethic when he doesn't even know what I do for a living! He demanded photos of me, which I had, and I sent them to him. Then, after a few more emails, he demanded the photos AGAIN all in caps lock. The owners are very rude and threatening, and I will never use them again. Ever. They did not hold up their contractual obligations written out by them, and yet, I'm the one that has to pay more. Still awaiting a response to see how they will accommodate this work, but after siding with their workers, even when photos have been provided, and yet still calling me the liar, if this doesn't get resolved I will definitely have to be taking this further than the BBB.

I did not use this company, but my neighbor did. The movers drove right over my front yard with a giant truck. This dented in my yard. I called the company to complain about what they did and all he said is that they shouldn't have done that. He didn't ask for any of my information and did not ask about whether there was any damage to the yard. I would not recommend them if this is an example of the kind of care and service you could get.

High price - low competence: Mad City estimated the cost of moving my 2 bedroom apartment at $364 but charged me $700. After they finished I found that they had forgotten to move 3 desk lamps, 1 floor lamp, 1 folding chair, 1 suitcase with clothes and a desk, claiming they could not remove the legs (it took me 3 minutes). When I complained, the next day they sent a truck and 2 guys to rectify their error and charged me another $100. Their movers were impressed by their own strength trying to move as many boxes as possible on a dolly resulting in dropped and damaged boxes. Mad City has a personable staff, but be wary of their competence and integrity.

Used Mad City Moving recently to move my home from a small town to Madison. I searched on-line and after viewing the Video that Mad City had, I made my decision to use this company. It was a very good decision! They were prompt, courteous and very helpful. Nothing was damaged. I definitely recommend them if you are in need of a moving service!

Was quoted it wouldnt cost more than $500.00 no mater how long it took. Showed up with a 3rd guy and said it was $30.00 more per hour if we used him! Bill came to $680.00 for 5 hours! (Ouch!) They will quote you one cost over the phone and charge you differently when all is said and done. I am reporting this to the BBB apparently they have pulled this bait and switch before and should be held liable! The movers themselves were excellent and very friendly, it's too bad they are working for such a scandle riddled Mickey Mouse operation!

I moved my mom from one assisted living room in Stoughton to another in Oregon. I spoke with the manager Arden who was very nice and helpful. The move took 2 hours which I thought was reasonable. I admit that I was not there to supervise the move but I feel that they did a good job. They packed up her things along with the move and the cost was close to $225.

They are prompt and very careful. I would have them any time. Try them you will like them!

Stay away from these guys. They charge on hourly basis and are as slow as molasses. They quoted me 2 hours for a job but took 6 hours and charged me for 6 hours. Out of the 2 guys that came to move my furniture, one person was pretty much standing idle for most of the time. Their only aim is to stretch the job as much as possible so that they can get the most money out of you.

My move was last minute, I called the night before. They immediately booked me, with no problem. The guys were prompt, friendly, and efficient! And it wasn't overpriced... I would definately call them should I need to move again!
