I will never go to Iceland again. The staff was rude and unprofessional. I took six girls there and they lost three of the girls shoes. The girls actually went into the storage area to help look for their shoes. After 30 minutes they eventually found their shoes. The girls found the shoes, not the employees. The place was dirty and gross. If I could give Iceland zero stars I would. Once again I will never go there again!!!!

You can ignore Sandy's comments since she works with the rink--does the crummy website , does sound for events etc. The "real" reviews are spot on. My family uses ice for both figure and open ice skating and has in the past played ice hockey(a program almost dead now at the younger levels, thanks again to the rink's "management"). The place is a dump, the people who run it are rude, lazy and uninformed, the ice is horrible most of the time, the roof leaks, the toilets are dirty, the vending machines empty most of the time, the concession stand provides awful "food" etc. The beer is good upstairs though... The idea that it is "improving" is absurd--it has gotten worse every year for years now. It is in business solely because the only other rink in town is small, seasonal and inconveniently located. Skaters from other organizations hate coming here and it is embarrassing to have them see Louisville this way.
