Awesome caring and incredibly ...

Awesome caring and incredibly honest staff! I took my dog for an emergency because two friends recommended me to go there. My dog, Gracie, had been part of a hit and run and was in horrible pain. The other offices in the area were busy and so was Mill Creek, but the receptionist at Mill Creek said they would try to fit me in as soon as the DVM got back from a farm call. Gracie was the first patient seen when he got back to the office, AND he even carried her from my truck.
DVM Mark Winning and Vet Tech Kim were not only gentle and caring towards Gracie, but they handled my concerns and emotions well, too.
They are keeping Gracie as comfortable and as calm as possible. Originally, Winning suggested surgery for the fractured hip joint, but a day after x-rays pointed towards surgery, Gracie was doing way better than expected. Two days after the accident, Winning said that surgery could wait and he would like to let Gracie heal with time.
This saved me financially and maybe unnecessary surgery if we had scheduled the surgery right away. The honesty of the staff is priceless.
Their office stays busy because word gets around about their reputable business.

Unlike other veterinarians I've been too, I didn't see them appear overwhelmed by too many pets. They are extremely organized and made sure the vet has plenty of time to see each patient for as long as necessary. They educated me on how to take care of my dog when I take her home, even gave me great advice dry vs. wet food diet. I'm thankful for all that they are doing. My first visit was an emergency visit for my dog who had been hit by a van. I was seen as soon as the Dr. Winning came back from a farm call. The staff made the emergency a priority. They went out of their way to make me feel special and respected, and were very sympathetic to my situation.
