Got my girlfriend a Valentines day gift card to use at Alure. She looked over all the pricing and packages, called in to make sure she could do everything she wanted they way she wanted at the price she wanted 3 TIMES. All was confirmed. When she came in from E-town to visit me she she had already had her car broken down and then had to borrow a car to go to Lexington on US 60 and found construction making her late, so she was already stressed. When she got there she was informed she could not do what she wanted to do, and that the prices had increased. They then allowed her to do it part way, but had her go on with appointments before they got all the pricing fiasco settled and then told her no you have to pay this and you can't use the coupons for this service after it was all done. Then I went up there to settle the difference and was met with sympathy by the girl at the counter and figured well something might get figured out here. Told me she would give the info to the manager and that she would get in contact with me later in the day. So I grabbed a bite to eat not far away at all, the manager called me back and I said oh can I come up and just discuss this if you are available now, she said no, lets just handle this on the phone and from there it was a pretty combative discussion as she was not going to budge on anything, said she actually cut my girlfriend a deal, the gall. Beware, website info is not what is reality at all, and this change was apparently made in OCTOBER and it has yet to be corrected. This is not McDonald's' where people know the prices and can go anytime. This is a planned event, my girlfriend took care to make sure she could get what she wanted, but Alure did not. It is quite disappointing the manager did not want to meet with me but instead wanted to get rid of me as soon as possible with a quick phone conversation.

I'm a past customer and was somewhat satisfied with the treatment. I've been living in a bigger city on the west coast for the past year and came back to Lexington. I made an appointment for a mani/pedi. Upon arriving for my appointment I'm told the technician called in sick and to reschedule. Maybe that crap is tolerated here, but not by me and not in bigger cities. What they should have done was given me another technician that day. They were also supposed to give me information on a stylist that left them, (now I know why) and of course that was asking too much as well. Deplorable. They went from possibilities to possibly the worst in town.

I was waited on hand & foot from the moment I got there. Everyone was very professional, & I received a great haircut. Thank you!

I've tried various salons all over Lexington and never been happy with my cut until I went to Alure. The stylist really listened to what I wanted and what my hair problem areas are. She also gave me some tips specifically for my hair which really work. I ended up with a great cut and great service!

I was very surprised how great my cut really was - recommend if you are short on time and don't want to spend alot for a stylist
