Regular Hours:Animal Adoption Hours Monday 12:00 p.m.- 6:00 p.m. Tuesday 12:00 p.m.- 6:00 p.m. Wednesday 12:00 p.m.- 8:00 p.m. Thursday Closed Friday Closed Saturday 12:00 p.m.- 4:00 p.m. Sunday 12:00 p.m.- 4:00 p.m. The Animal Shelter lobby opens at 10:00am on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Saturday, and Sunday for services such as: reclaiming of stray pets, dog license sales, surrendering of pets, and other business. Animals available for adoption may not be viewed outside of the above adoption hours. Owners wishing to reclaim stray pets can do so on Thursdays and Fridays by appointment. Please call 703-777-0406 between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. on Thursday and Friday to make an appointment. Thursday Mobile Pet Adoptions Thursday mobile pet adoptions are currently on winter hiatus. Weekly mobile adoptions will resume in March.
