Langley, about to celebrate its 100 year anniversary, has a rich and interesting history that is well worth visiting via the Historical Museum opposite Mo's Pub on 2nd St. Books on Langley history, photos, articles, artifacts, and videos can be found here. I love learning about the origins, characters and lore of this wonderful village by the sea. It definitely deepens a sense of place with its own unique story.
