I highly recommend B & P Auto Service, especially if you are a single woman who has little to no knowledge of cars. I see that there was one negative review from 2011 but that must have been a different owner or something because my experience with them has been great. I am a very friendly, 37 year old, single woman, and I look like I'm in my mid-twenties so people try to take advantage of me ALL THE TIME. These guys NEVER tried that. I know because my uncle is an excellent mechanic out on the north fork and I've been consulting him along the way concerning B & P's diagnosis for my car as well as their quotes for labor and materials. The fact that they really explain things a way that the average person can understand is great. They aren't condescending and they take good care of their customers. I work in the office up the road from their shop and they have given me rides back and forth when I've had to leave my car there. The owner is a sweet man and he did everything to help me pass inspection this year without over charging me. He worked with me because he knew that my funds were limited and I feel confident that I'm not getting screwed in any way. I was looking for a trustworthy mechanic like my uncle and I know I've found one in B & P Auto!

STAY AWAY!!! RIP OFF ARTISTS!!!!! THEY WILL DO UNAUTHORIZED WORK ON YOUR CAR. VERY DISREPUTABLE.
