Consumer Credit Counseling Service is a nonprofit firm, providing community based credit counseling and debt management services. Established in 1974, the company and its affiliate offices provide financial education and counseling to consumers in-person, by phone or the Internet at more than 20 locations in four states. Its serves include financial counseling, bankruptcy services, credit report review, debt management plans and housing counseling. The firm is a United States Department of Housing and Urban Development approved housing counseling multi-state organization. Consumer Credit Counseling Service is a member of the National Foundation for Credit Counseling, the Better Business Bureau and the Council On Accreditation.
