At Advanced Gastroenterology & Liver Institute, Dr. Haq specializes in diagnosing and treating digestive disorders like Crohn’s disease, ulcerative colitis, and hepatitis. She also performs a number of diagnostic procedures, including upper endoscopy, endoscopic ultrasound, and endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (ERCP). In addition, people come to Advanced Gastroenterology & Liver Institute for colon cancer screenings and treatment of colon polyps. Dr. Haq has a high adenoma detection rate of 65%, increasing her patients’ protection against colon cancer. After earning her Doctor of Medicine at Shifa College of Medicine in Rawalpindi, Islamabad, Pakistan, Dr. Haq completed her internal medicine residency at Loma Linda University Medical Center in Loma Linda, California. She then completed her gastroenterology fellowship at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) and her advanced endoscopy fellowship at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center in West Carson, California.
