I have to say avoid this company at all costs.I initially made contact in Sept 2015 with several Houston based site building companies via Thumbtack describing the sports site and the specific features I was looking for. After looking at a few bids I setup meetings. Their bid gave an initial price, but after our face to face, the price was now 66% higher based on extra clarity they now had. Then it went up another 40%. Unlike my current web designer, there were never concrete stages outlined or payment structure based on that structure. i.e. 25% paid at this completion point, 50% at this completion point, etc. They wanted payment of the amt as soon as possible. And when it was time to pay, everyone was able to answer the phone. Emails got immediate replies about billing. Early on, I got emails from Alonso and Melissa, prompt and ready for a card charge. Over the last yr, Melissa disappeared as a POC.The website work is 100% outsourced, and even though that shouldn't be a communication impediment, it was referenced time and time again: "There had been problems w prev customers asking to see parts of the web design b4 it was completed: It causes issues. Timezone barriers. Language barriers. We're still doing fixes on the back end so there's nothing yet to show. Still doing the back end. More work on the back end." We went more than 5 months w nothing tangible. No template nothing. No thoughts on a homepage. No emails asking me to choose between A & B. Nothing. No emails at all. For five months. The only emails I ever got were responses asking about the lack of communication and can I get an update. We never went over code. Never picked a template. Never went over themes, colors, etc. And when I said 6 months w nothing but ur word to show being too long... talk about refunds got the threat of losing money allegedly spent on back end work. So none of the timeframes had been met, there was absolutely nothing to show for it, and in February of 2016, questions about pulling out were met w threat of only partial refunds. In one of many contrasts, my current web designer gave me the URL to the local hosting the barebones template of the site is being built on. As things are implemented, I'm getting emails and I can reload the local site and see changes almost immediately: PC or phone. He's been working on the site 6 weeks. He asked a lot of questions about the first site build I'm referencing above and has not liked the answers. For example: he wanted access to view the already written code that I had seen from the site, to see where they were in development, but code was never made available.Nothing happened as promised. Its a possibility nothing happened or a lot of work was attempted, but not completed, but I have to based this solely on one man's word. No deadlines were met when they said they were implemented. No structure was ever put in place. I never had an outline or calendar detailing what was happening at a certain. I never had a call or email initiated by them for updates. I never had a call or email initiated by them for updates. I never had a call or email initiated by them for updates. And when I would call, sometimes I'd get an answer, sometimes not. Could be days or weeks w complete radio silence from a big professional business that knows there are calls and emails being sent. When I text, sometimes I'd get an answer, sometimes not. When I would email, sometimes I would get a response. Finally around October of 2016 after so much back and forth, Alonso decided his team couldn't do the site. A full year later. What was initially billed as a big company w a team that was going to sit me down quickly from day 1 for a meeting to tell me how the site would be developed was now a one man show, and when Alonso wasn't avail, noone was available. Melissa didn't answer calls, and her email stopped working, apparently. She was part of the team the first 2 months when payments were made in general inquiries, after that...
