I have been taking my dog here for about a year. I bought her from Petland (which some people say is a huge mistake). My dog is perfect and well behaved in every way. Some people believe ALL dogs should be adopted and not come from dog breeders or "puppie mills". This vet does work with breeders and they get a lot if not most of their business from Petland. The staff there is SO warm and welcoming. You can tell they are animal lovers. The place is very run down, not just a little bit but VERY RUN DOWN. My dog got fixed there and so far so good so I know at least they run a clean place. My dog has had very good care there, and now I have started bringing my cat. Every way they do things is very old school but at least they take major credit cards so thats good.Lets put it this way.. its not The Ritz, but I am in no hurry to find a new vet!

I am a breeder of show dogs and need a vet that will work with me instead of against me, listen to my recommendations and specifications on breed standards. Dr McGinniss is very open to breeders and their breed concerns. He is current on new procedures and medicine and I have found his prices to be computable to other veterinarians in the area. My first concern is not on prices but the overall health and care of my animals. With Dr. McGinniss I get both. His staff is well versed and caring which is a plus. He also takes the time with his patents and I never feel rushed.

I've been taking my cat there ... for 15 years! The staff is always caring, concerned, and very friendly.
