I remember this store with great fondness. When my son was growing up, we went into this store many times and purchased toys. I recall Mrs. Kernohan well. She was always helpful and charming! I also recall that in or around 1979 the store sold a model of the Alien creature from the Alien film. It was about 3 feet tall and had a moveable mouth and arms and legs. Quite a nightmarish creature and I've no doubt a joy to own. At that long ago time the store was on State Street in downtown Santa Barbara, later across from the Fox Arlington. I hope they're still doing well. A grand store!
