Dishwasher

Multiple repairs needed on Monogram double oven, dishwasher and Samsung tv. Appointment window is between 7 am-6pm. They do not stand by there products and have had scheduled appointments cancelled the day of appointments, multiple times. Who pays the consumer for days off especially when you think someone is coming but there not. Have been without dishwasher for 2 months and 3 appointments later the repair man leaves telling his call in place that dishwasher needs to be replaced and left dishwasher in parts with bag of bolts only to find out no one is going to call or replace a appliance under warranty. The dishwasher is left in pieces and consumer is out.Also left out this is my second dishwasher Monogram and had same issue with first one and was finally replaced. When you call they say they have to get there supervisor when they are in fact working from home.

Issues with PC Richards Service with a day old LG washer

Hi,
Too bad your scheduling is far from consumer friendly, for you expect people especially during these times of being safe to wait for a time and day that is convenient for you, therefore I am disappointed to have purchased my appliances for the kitchen and laundry-room from PCR, for I have nothing but problems with the service department such as, waiting 4 weeks to get a brand new wall oven repaired. The service department should be a support for the sales staff not a hindrance when customers are at the mercy of those with a lack of logistics training, and hopefully this can be corrected, for I have invested foolishly in 8 year service contracts for all of my purchases from PC.

Service Call

Several yrs ago I bought an LG washer and dryer. Last week I called for warranty service on the washing machine. A technician came 2 days later and determined the main motor was bad and had to be replaced. He ordered the part while still in my house. It's over a week now and after 2 phone calls to the service department, the part has not come in. I'm a long-term PC Richard customer and usually, the service is prompt. I think that this time the problem lies in your supply pipeline. It shouldn't take a week or more to get a part. Then wait a few more days to have the repairman in the house fix it. I'm looking at the other reviews on here and they're all negative. I need this appliance fixed NOW!!! Does anyone ar PC Richard even read these reviews?

Long time customer totally disappointed

I Purchased a Samsung range from my local dealer who I have used numerous times. When I purchased the range Unbeknownst to me it has a lip on both sides. They neglected to tell me this upon my purchase.so when it arrived and they went to put it in obviously it didn’t fit. I called the store immediately and let them know. My plumber gave me the name of somebody that might be able to drill a hole line in the wall with a lip can go into but it would run me around 300 or up to have all this work done because I would have to put backsplash now on the side etc. I called the store and told them that I either have to return it or they can compensate me they settled on giving me 150. Regrettably I still have not seen the 150 I have called the store five times spoken to the manager and to the associate and to my salesman all to no avail I keep getting excuse after excuse why I’m not getting this credit. I have a huge clientele in the same district where the store is and I will have no qualms telling every single one of them how disappointing that store is and how they actually did not tell me the truth. I will be calling corporate today to see if they can give me some resolution to this.

Our Samsung dryer needed to be serviced on 9/5/19. Service man came replaced what was broken inside. It was 2 wheels and a pulley. Service man left. We went to use dryer after being service NOT WORKING. Pushed power button immediately shut down and tripped breaker that was on separate breaker for dryer. Drying was working fine except for very loud noise when drying before a service man came Called local store explained situation did not help at all. We tried to schedule a date the next day was told no. We scheduled date. I tried to change date and was told had to call 800 # service dept to reach. appt date. Called them right away, could not get anyone to come back was told techs were not available. Was told techs are overbooked and could not get anyone. I was so angry that finally i got call back to say that someone would come out Sat. 9/7 and would get a call for window of time. Got the automated call Friday to confirm and window of time was someone would come out between 7am -6pm. Utterly ridiculous and pissed off that a whole day wasted to wait for a company when the broke my dryer that they were supposed to fix. NO STARS rating

AWFUL install issues with 48" Jenn-Air oven

NO STARS -- 3 visits from non-English speaking oven installers ... 5 more visits with appliance service company to fix missing parts on this oven. DO NOT USE PC RICHARDS for anything that needs installation. Do not trust ANY appliances that are on the sales floor. Now we are told we had a 30 day window for filing claim on floor and wall damages they made - the oven took over 5 weeks to be installed completely!!! Most unpleasant experience of our lives. Do not trust this store. We were not advised how old this unit was and were made promises from salesman that did not happen. Awful, awful experience.

Awful delivery and install

Hello, I have been a PC Richard & Son customer for close to 15 years.
I have purchased 4 or 5 air conditioners, multiple televisions and recently an entire collection of expensive kitchen appliances (range, refrigerator, dishwasher and microwave). This last purchase was close to $7,000.
The in-store personnel was good, my sales rep George was helpful and has been communicative when I initiate. The problems started with the delivery and installation. The delivery was scheduled for last Friday and two truck showed up just at the tail end of the delivery window. My contractor let them in the apartment and the delivery/install folks stated that they were backed up and wouldn't install the gas range nor would they pick up the old appliances (lack of room?). They also left all of the packing material and didn't deliver the install kit for the dishwasher or the correct handles for the refrigerator.

Luckily, my contractor stepped up and did the install, removed all of the appliances (save the range), and took away the boxes and packing material.

To recap, the salesman George was nice and competent. The service not in the least.

Sorry to see my business go elsewhere in the future, PC Richard, your lack of care and service has disappointed me.

I'd love to hear from PC Richard corporate.

Over the last few years I have purchased a refrigerator, dishwasher, a microwave, and a washing machine and dryer. In this time I have had 6 service calls on the dishwasher and finally they had to give us a new dishwasher. shortly after that we had 2 service calls on the new dishwasher. the day after our refrigerator went. I waited all day for the technician until finally I had to go around the corner to get something to eat or else the technician would have found me passed out on the floor. Of course he shows up in the ten minutes I was gone and they refuse to send him back. I explained the situation that I am diabetic and what happened and she says, look to bad you missed the technician that's the bottom line. never again will I buy PC richard.

Awful Customer Service

I bought a new refrigerator. The delivery man told me there was a dent in the door. I called the salesperson who told me to text a picture of the door. I did and he texted me offering me a $75 credit. I told him I prefer a new door since it was an expensive refrigerator. Never heard back. I then texted him again and he told me to call the manager. I called Jack (at the Paramus store), he promised me a new door. Never heard back. My husband called and spoke to someone higher up than Jack named Josh. He did not return our calls and nothing happened. Very disappointed with PC Richards. Will never buy there again and will never recommend them to anyone!!!! I would give them a negative rating if I could.

An error was made in PC Richards not delivering on the date promised we were faced with such unbelievable rudeness at the Baychester, Bronx location. the sales rep who handled the purchase was unavailable at the time the store was called and the other staff who answered most definately need training in customer service. It is surprising that there is no avenue to report bad behavior to the company, all the telephone numbers advertised are either for the store to be faced with more disrespect or parts and service department. Therefore, its clear customers are not important to this company.

PC Richards Does not Care about their customers

I am complaining about the quality of service Pc Richards has given to me. I have a GE Range stove that is still under warranty with PC richards that caused a gas leak in my home. GE is saying its going to take 2 weeks plus to get the parts leaving me and my family 2 weeks plus without a stove! And we are coming up on Thanksgiving. No one except 1 representative named Kelly was able to help me. Kelly unfortunately couldnt do anything. Not one manager would get on the phone to speak to me regardless of how may times I have called. I will NEVER buy anything from PC Richards again and neither will my family who has bought numerous appliances. I will make sure to let everyone I know that PC Richards ha the worst service ever and does not care about their customers.

Horrible service, the worst decision we ever made.

We spent over $3000 on appliances and our dryer fried. PC Richards was told by their repair service that is was a faulty installation, causing it to melt the wire and computer board. PC Richards, installation company are all denying any accountability. No one wants to fix or deliver a new dryer. We're out $1000 dryer.
