Provided by Doctor.comDr. Razdan is a very warm and compassionate doctor. I very much appreciate his positive energy. In addition, I never felt rushed and felt comfortable to ask questions. I also am always so incredibly grateful when I meet doctors who are compassionate and understanding. Dr. Razdan instantly put me at ease and I would recommend him without hesitation.

- As an interventional radiologist at Connecticut Image Guided Surgery, Dr. Rishi Razdan strives to spend as much time as possible with every single patient, explaining procedures in detail and answering questions from both his patients and their family members. He was recognized for his dedication to patients' well-being and his skill in radiology by a nomination for St. Francis Hospital and Health Centers' 2013 Award for Physician Excellence. After earning his MD from the Mercer University School of Medicine in Macon, Georgia, Dr. Razdan completed a residency, including serving as Chief Resident, at St. Vincent's Medical Center of the University of Connecticut School of Medicine. He then completed a fellowship in vascular and interventional radiology at Yale-New Haven Hospital. He is board certified by the American Board of Radiology with a Certificate of Added Qualification in Vascular and Interventional Radiology. Among other publications, Dr. Razdan has coauthored papers in the Journal of Vascular and Interventional Radiology, including a study depicting a process to successfully salvage AV fistulas that have failed to mature and a study depicting the lack of significant intimal hyperplasia in FLAIR endovascular stents. He participates with Dr. Rosenblatt in ongoing research on venous disease and other areas of vascular and interventional radiology. Dr. Razdan is a member of the Society of Interventional Radiology, the American College of Radiology, and the Radiological Society of North America, as well as other professional societies and organizations. Dr. Razdan lives in Connecticut with his wife, a chiropractor, and their two dogs. He enjoys learning to play the guitar and plans to learn how to sail as well.
