Friendly and helpful staff, excellent food, fresh seafood and a great variety. Will come back again and again and will recommend them to all of my friends. I love to have a local place where I can get seafood fresh. I just don't have the same "trust and experience" when I buy seafood at a supermarket. I like to buy from and support specialty shops who make it their business to do their best at what they do.

The absolute worst customer service, the way they treat customers, they should be out of business very soon...and the prices are extremely high...

"Ordered fresh herring for Christmas, was told it normally comes salted but the owner would call his fish guy to see if it was possible to get fresh. He made the phone call while I was in the store and got confirmation that I could get fresh fish. Great.Came back the day after and picked up my fish, even bought extra since they had delivered a little over a pound. Thought, hey, that'll make some good fried fish with parsley...Fried up the fish and pickled most of it so I had the vinegar going on the stove with sugar so naturally it smelled like vinegar in the kitchen. Then went on to make some mashed potatoes and sat down to eat the fresh fried herring with it.Took one bite and thought I was going to puke, my husband looked tormented too. It was obviously salted beyond recognition (wich is fine for certain pickled herring, just not the kind I had just made, and is awful to eat just fried!!)Anyway, thinking that he might not know he got the salted fish from his fishguy I called him
