Brandano's has recently revamped itself by adding pizza ovens and hired an experienced Pizza Maker. Brandano's takes pride in using only the best ingredients for their pizza and offers more of a home cooked menu with an Italian cultured flare. The owners both come from an Italian heritage and are accustomed to eating homemade pasta, gravies, and deserts. Brandanos owners tested different cheeses, tomatoes, and different dough flour for over a month before finalizing their ingredients. Once their ingredients were finalized, they put it out to the consumer offering free taste tests, encouraging constructive feedback for almost two months. Brandanos pizza recipe was finalized based on the majority feedback of the consumers who took part in their taste testing. The owners will continue to oversee that their pizzas are made to their specifications. Brandanos also offer gluten free pizza dough and other gluten free products for those who are sensitive to gluten or prefer to eliminate gluten in their diet. Brandanos does not make gluten free dough because they do not have a completely gluten free facility. However, the gluten free dough they purchase is delivered from a gluten free facility and comes already rolled out, reducing the risk of gluten flours coming into contact with the gluten free dough. Brandanos makes every reasonable effort to reduce the risk of gluten coming into contact with their gluten free products. However, they strongly urge those who have a heightened sensitivity to gluten to find a gluten free facility for take out and delivery as an alternative. As much as Brandanos would like consumers with a gluten sensitivity to buy their products, they understand the serious health affects associated with gluten sensitivity and refuse to place the consumer with gluten sensitivity at risk. Brandanos sides are also home-style. The French fries, sweet potatoes, and onion rings are all made from scratch, including stuffed cherry peppers, some of their salad dressings, marinades, and deserts. Brandanos specials that will be offered from time to time include the owners homemade family recipes. Some of their recipes that will be offered are ravioli, Tiramisu, cannoli shells and filling, cheesecake, manicotti crepes with ricotta filling, and meatballs with fresh angel hair. Brandanos will continue to offer a large assortment of ice cream, carrying Richardsons hard ice cream. They have expanded their desert creations and now offer Fried Icecream and Fried dough. When Mrs. Brandano was a child, her mother would frequently make fried dough for breakfast instead of pancakes. Brandanos carries Richies slush but for those looking for the old-time Italian slush, I suggest you try their homemade Italian slush! Most of their homemade slush is made on premises using fresh fruit. Brandanos currently carries over 20 flavors of Richardson's Ice Cream. They also have over 24 flavors of soft serve ice cream.
