A WONDERFUL DOCTOR & A GREAT, CARING MAN...I have been a patient for more than a year, and feel truly blessed to have finally found a physician who knows what he's doing, and really cares about his patients. I have seen more than my share of drs. for my chronic illness, and have never met anyone as knowledgeable, nurturing, and modest as Dr. Jacobs. In response to "orders expensive tests" and "charges more if you smoke"-utter nonsense..I have never been overcharged for anything. Any tests the Dr. thinks he needs to run, HE ALWAYS DISCUSSES FIRST. And I smoke a pack of cigarettes a day, a fact the Dr. knew from day one. I have never even heard of such nonsense as being charged extra for smoking. Sure, once in awhile, as any responsible physician should do, Dr. Jacobs mentions that I should consider quitting, but he never made an issue of it. Those negative reviews sound like "the patient" has a personal issue ( such "issues" can arise when, for example, a dr. refuses to perscribe certain medications that a patient insists on having.) Dr. Jacobs is the most ethical doctor I have ever met.
