Dr. Barrett is a board certified physiatrist with expertise in diagnosing and treating neurological and musculoskeletal conditions that limit movement or cause pain. She received her training in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation at the Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore Maryland. She spent four years in Marietta, Ohio as the Medical Director of the Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit at Marietta Memorial Hospital. She also headed Mears Ward Inpatient Stroke Rehabilitation Unit at Astley Ainslie Hospital in Edinburgh Scotland. Dr. Barrett has a broad spectrum of experience in rehabilitation of stroke, traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injury, peripheral neuropathy, acute and chronic pain syndromes involving the joints and spine.
