Went in to order subs to go, took them 45 miniutes to make them. I guess they have to raise, kill, pluck and clean the chicken before they serve it. Great food but horrible service time.

BIG BANG FOR THE LITTLE BUCK! This is an awesome place! You will not get a better deal for the amount of food! A large pizza as many topping as you want only ten Bucks! These guys are smart they know how to give a great value with great taste. Don't be deceived It may look small from the outside but inside it's quite big. It's a great place for your family or your buddy's. I will tell you this is going to be big when the word gets out! We here in Connecticut have Pepe's of New haven and Now we have Valenti's of East Hartford. I give it an A+ all around! By the way from someone who has a friend in a wheelchair it is Very Wheelchair friendly! Enjoy and I will bet you, you won't leave with an empty belly or a frown on your face. Just a smile and a question "when can I come back" From me a verry happy customer to you, a soon to be a verry happy customer!

What a great place! Don't be fooled by the size from the outside it looks small, but when you step inside there is plenty of space and seating. I only wish I lived closer, I work in East Hartford, but live in Meriden. Today was my first visit and the staff couldn't be any more pleasant. I even met the owner Joe as I was going to my car and he greated me with a friendly hello. The food was good I had the chicken cutlet. I like that they offer the Honest Orangics Brand of drink! I will definitly be back to try the Goulash :)

This was my fourth time ordering from Valentis and until tonight loved the place. I ordered delivery to my home and received the wrong item. When we called to inform the restaurant about the mistake we were told not to touch the item as they want it back. While we were waiting for the correct item to arrive we got a call from the restaurant telling us again not to touch the incorrect item. When the correct item arrived the delivery guy took everything out of the package and made sure we did not touch anything, I was a bit surprised about all the interest in the 10.00 mistake on the restaurants part. I called the restaurant and spoke with the owner who informed me that he is taken advantage of often because of the type of neighborhood we live in. It sure was nice to have paid full price for their mistake and then be accused of trying to sI told him that he was rude and I will never order from him again and he said he won't lose any sleep from this. Nice response from an owner.

Wow! These grinders (hoagies where I'm from in south Jersey) are huge! I got a 1/2 (8 inch) combo (like an italian) and took the other half home! It had enough meat to make a few more sanwiches. The atmosphere was great and the owner even came out to ask how the grinder was. The parking is definitely limited. The only reason I didn't give them a five is because of the roll. It wasn't bad, I'm just used to the hard rolls I grew up with. Other than that, you better bring your appetite!

Quality of the meat is terrific. Grinders are huge -- a half more than feed 1 person. Everything there is awesome. My new favorite place to grab a sandwich or pizza. Glad you opened in East Hartford.
