For The Care Your Child Deserves

General Info

Care-giving and teaching are inseparable. They happen every day, with every interaction. The experienced professionals at Children's Choice Learning Center have provided high quality education for young children since 1982. Serving children from six weeks old through Kindergarten, we've designed a flexible program that accommodates a working parent's schedule and is sensitive to both individual child and family needs. We understand the need to work with your child your way. Each child at Children's Choice is encouraged to develop his/her talents and abilities in a family oriented environment. Development is enriched when a child can participate with other children in a planned program guided by supportive and nurturing professionals. The Learning Center promotes a structured program of activities for cognitive enrichment, social and emotional well-being, and physical development. We are open Monday through Friday, 6:30 AM to 7:30 PM. This is a twelve-month program. Children's Choice staff members are dedicated professionals who respect and enjoy children. Almost all of our teachers have been with us for over five years, many over ten, some are iver 20. Summer camp at Children's Choice is also available. Commuter convenient, we are located just off of Route 18, near the Lowe's Home Improvement Center.

If you are a divorced parent, do not send your child here. They choose sides. Office staff Robin, wrote letters for court without both sides of the story. very unprofessional and unethical.

Children's Choice was the perf...

Children's Choice was the perfect place for my son to attend Kindergarten! First and foremost, the instruction is top notch; my child has developed skills, knowledge, maturity, and a love for learning which surpassed my expectations. The classrooms are large, well-appointed, and child friendly. As a working mom, Children's Choice was perfect for me, too. The school is always flexible and sensitive to my needs. Our whole family has had a comfortable and productive year, thanks to Children's Choice.

Peace of Mind!

My son has attended Children's Choice since he was 9 months old. He's now entering the pre-K program. We are so happy to have found CC. The teachers are wonderful and really care about our son and the support staff is fantastic. I am very pleased overall with the school. For the most part the teaching staff has remained the same. There has been very little change of the staff...definitely not a revolving door here.

There are other activities offered for nominal fees such as The Fun Bus, Kiddie Soccer, tennis, and computer tots and more. The commuter bus is 2 blocks away on Rt. 18 and I am able to leave my car right in their parking lot...very convenient and the very fact that they offer a late hour (til 7p.m.) is perfect for me since I work in Brooklyn and commute by bus. If you are looking for a center for your child, you should definitely consider Children's Choice.

Went to a lot of childcares, LOVE this one

Since I used the web to find CC, I thought I'd give my thoughts as well. I did a lot of searching before selecting Children's Choice and I haven't been disappointed.

As I said, my kids love this place. They were friendly and flexible from the start and those were the main reasons I chose it.

Other child cares I checked out were newer (this center has been there over 25 years) but their staffs seemed hurried and new on their jobs. These people really care about your child. My youngest needed a little reassurance before he could feel comfortable. Not only did the director make him feel feel more relaxed than I'd seen him act during any first visit, but the classroom teacher we visited somehow engaged him right away. I was impressed.

Anyway, the classrooms are comfortable, the prices are reasonable, and the staff are caring. Recommended.

Great Kindergarten, Great School

My son was at CC since he was 17 months old and it's been great. He's going into 1st grade in the fall and Ms. E did a wonderful job getting him ready for the East Brunswick system. The class size will be a lot larger (his kindergarten class was only 12 at Children's Choice), but because he had a full day kindergarten, we expect the transition to be a lot smoother than if he's done half day. Anyway, THANKS to Ms. E and Children's Choice!

Great school, not just childcare

Highly recommended. My son only went here for Kindergarten, but he really enjoyed it. He's sight reading better and has really matured with the class. The teacher is wonderful. Clean space, nice equipment. Play area is a little small.

Children's Choice is the Best!

My daughter has truly excelled in the Children's Choice Kindergarten program. She will be well prepared to enter 1st grade at the public school, and even ahead of her peers. Thank you Children's Choice!

Good Kindergarten

This is my first ever rating, but I thought I'd give my opinion. My first daughter is just finishing her pre-K year and will be going here next year for Kindergarten. I've been talking with other parents about their experience with the results of sending their children to Children's Choice for Kindergarten and they have all been very pleased. Miss A has been there for several years (I've know her for only 2) and the children like and respect her and the parents said she does a great job. Based on the last 2 years at the school, which have been great, I'm going to try it and have just signed-up. I'll update this next year. As an FYI, I work, so the flexibility to pick-up after 6 when I need to, without paying for it every day is appreciated. Overall, I'd rate the school very good. I do wish there was a larger playground, but the outdoor play area is adequate. The Spanish (free) and computer lessons (extra) are good. My daughter really liked the soccer (extra fee).

Good teacher

I just saw this and thought I would add my insights. I chose this school because it had a good reputation and my walk around went really well with A****. Later, my daughter really liked her first "teacher" in the infant room. Now she's having a good time with the other 3's. She likes the library time, and her teacher is good at keeping her vegetarian. Recommended.

Good school

My 2 year-old has loved the school and his teachers. They're great and he goes to them without too much fuss. I get feedback from his classroom whenever I want it. Classroom is bright and cheery. Really, my only complaint is with the building. It looks like an office building from the outside, but inside it's fine.
