Duke Children's Primary Care provides comprehensive and acute care services for newborns, children and adolescents. Its physicians focus on the medical and developmental needs of the patients. Duke Children's Primary Care provides a range of wellness services, such as immunizations and routine physical examinations, including those required for school, competitive athletics and camp. It also provides first-line diagnostic and treatment services for infants and teenagers. In addition, Duke Children's Primary Care offers additional services, including admitting privileges at Duke University and Durham Regional Hospitals, adolescent specialty care, on-site mental health, prenatal visits, lactation and sports medicine. Its staff includes more than 25 board-certified pediatricians, pediatric residents, nurse clinicians and social workers. Located in Durham, N.C., Duke Children's Primary Care is a division of Duke University s Department of Pediatrics.
