I was seen here by Dr. Jessica...

I was seen here by Dr. Jessica Knight. They are now located on Shannon Rd in Durham NC not off the highway. This doctor is very insensitive and made me more sick than before I came in. She put me on an antidepressant that gave me hallucinations. Another medicine she gave me gave me Steven Johnson's Syndrome which made me have to go to the ER. This is a rash that can become deadly. This made me unsure of the judgment in the care I was receiving from her. She seemed trustworthy but she was not. I had to reschedule appointments from being sick (which was a result of her treatment). She took me off of the medicine that prevented my migraines and I had massive migraines. I called and told them I had migraines that impaired my ability to safely get to her office for a 15 minute appointment. I called to reschedule and Dr. Knight decided to terminate me even though my cancellations were due to her treatment or miscommunication from their office. Carolina Partners are not caring and only care about time slots. After being off of the mood stabilizers my mood stabilized(go figure). She misdiagnosed me. So I wouldn't recommend this doctor or practice to anyone because they do not take responsibility for the mistakes they make and then throw you out when you can't make it even though it is from an illness they caused. The issue is even if it wasn't caused by them, they would rather me get behind the wheel with a migraine that impairs my vision and risk my life for their 15 minute appointment. The doctor called me and basically lectured me on how I should know when I am going to be sick and notify them before the date. Any one that knows what a migraine is knows that many times you wake up with them and are unpredictable. This was very insulting and caused a lot of anxiety for me because a psychiatrist is someone who should care and you should be able to trust. She made me cry on the phone when I pleaded with her that my migraines were unpredictable and her treatment caused most of my cancellations. She didn't care and pretty much had nothing to say. Any respectable practice would show more compassion than that. They rescheduled appointments with me and from misunderstandings held me accountable for showing up at the time I thought my appointment was. There is no compassion. Be careful where you go because the doctor also wrote false statements about me in her reports and failed to tell me I was going to be terminated from missing appointments for being ill.
