Provided by DexKnowsMy wife and I purchased a car there and our finance manager was Jeff Rackers. While doing the paperwork Jeff Rackers was very insistent that we purchase the extended warranty they sell. Almost to the point of threatening our financing if we didn't purchase it. 2.5 years later our alternator went bad and we called to look into using our warranty. Unfortunately it expired at 60,000 and our car was at 60,348. I called Jeff Rackers to see if there was anything they could do. Not only did he not help us but was rude and condescending for me even calling him. Do yourself a favor and DON'T purchase a car there!!! And whatever you do DON'T buy the warranty that Jeff Rackers will undoubtedly try to strong arm you into taking!!

Provided by DexKnowsOn buying a preowned 2010 Rav4, six months old with less than 12,000 miles. Form JOE MACHENS, I found that the saleman RAFAEL ROMERO did not inform us that the vechile was short a SMART KEY. After paying for the car, it was running and waiting for us. As my wife got into the vechile I noticed that we only had one key. I inquired about this, I was informed that they were lookig for it. On returning form a week vaction, I called to inquire about the key, I was told that the second key would be my responisibity and I should check Ebay. On hearing this I called Mr. FRANK MARCURELLA the business manager he infomed me the same, but he said he would see what could do and took my phone number, but never returned my call. After fifty years of buying cars this has been the biggest and unfriendly ripoff that I have been part of. Oh by the way the new smart key has cost me more than $400.00. But about a hundred dollars less from my dealer in Jefferson City. I should have stayed with my home dealer

Provided by DexKnowsI bought a 2007 Honda Civic Si. I purchased this car and drove it home to KC 2 hours away. 3 weeks after buying the car the clutch went out! It only had 22k miles on it! So, I called Warren B. my sales guy and he said there was nothing he could do. So, I talked to a manager and there was nothing he could do either because it was "normal wear and tear", which I heard that about a million times. NORMAL WEAR AND TEAR AFTER 3 WEEKS! I didn't even make my first payment by this time. So, I had the car towed to my local honda dealership and they told me $1,800 for a new clutch! and joe machens toyota wouldn't help what so ever! This is my 2nd car I've purchased from them and my mother is on her 2nd car from them also. I WILL NEVER BUY A CAR FROM THEM AGAIN. All they care about is selling the car and making money and then they could care less when you have a problem.
