Food Dry, Tough & Waterlogged-No Lie

Really.. No lie! We haven't been back to this Outback Resurant in quite a few years due to the food and service slowly going down hill. So, sad cuz it was 1 of the only really good places (besides Red Lobster) to have a great steak dinner. I wouldn't trade the Texas Road House for a steak in this town since coming back here to eat. Sad to say.. "saw that they were building a Salt Grass Steakhouse" (hoping they don't drop the ball either)So, thinking that their restaurants in Houston have never let us down we figured we'd give them another shot. As most people do, we ordered the Famous Blooming Onion which have always been on the mark Awesome! Ouch! It was bad..bad! It was a dark brown from frying either to long or burnt, hopefully not old oil. I'm hoping it's the first one. OMG! Cuz, when we managed pulled out the onions inside they melted in our mouths. YUM! It just got worse as the dinner continued. The Cesar salad was soggy and watery, like they didn't drain the water off the lettuce properly. Yuk! My husband had the New York Strip (med well) was tough and dry around the edge's. The middle came out Well Done. I had the Grilled Talapia(poor little fish) it was cooked too long, hoping not micro'd. With that same watery taste like the salad. Could Not Eat it! But, their Outback Long Island Ice Tea was wonderful. I'd go there just for that. Spot on! Wishing for Better food most of all! Especially, since your a Restaurant.

Good steaks, nice family vibe

Tons of regulars come here, especially on Friday nights. Good steaks, decent prices. Not the best, not the worst.
