Nice bar-room atmosphere. The food is really tasty and well-priced here, and the waitstaff is pleasant and attentive. Also, great live music on the weekends (Bent Rail Blues Band is a frequent guest...a must-see!). The biggest drawback is the amount of smoking allowed on the back patio...really excessive, to the point of making me leave immediately after I was done with my meal.

we stopped in at 3pm yesterday---greeted by a friendly crowd at the bar-no dirtbags--and friendly staff---ushered into dining room by vickie, super nice gal. had bavarian platter. everything excellent--nice portians=good taste--nice presentation, draft beers excellent-service was timely and pleasant. waitress was attentive but did not bug us every five minutes. place was clean. very very comfortable captains chairs with leather cushions, very relaxing. met cook on the way out, --he was friendly, clean as was his full front body white apron---(-yu have seen some of the grungy type)

Provided by YP.comA recent visit to this small, dark, establishment only informs me that they lack the talent of serving good food.
I did not receive information on their cost of food....if so....they would have showed me their Sams reciept, or the
meat bought from Price Chopper, from which I hear came their porter house blowout special being given lately.
I found the food to be poor, the service terrible......and the foul language from the bar area a bit alarming,
especially with small children present. The children wanted to enjoy the patio they offer, only to find a huge
swamp going on....with all tables bare and their lack of sufficient unbrellas. The only "Miracle" about this place
on White Street....is the fact that they are still in operation.
