I recently went to discount tire with a problem with my drivers rear tire. the sidewall had some cracks with metal belt starting to go through cracks. The tires on my truck are only 15 months old and were 4/32 under warranty. when they put this information in their computer it only gave me a $30 pro rata credit. The cost of replacing the tire was $40 more than the cost of the original tire. Basically their tire warranty is worthless. The sign in Discount tire says the warranty will give you peace of mind up to 3/32 inch of thread, but their sign does not state that the peace of mind is pro-rated. I would advise checking out exactly what you receive when you purchase a tire warranty.

The staff at this Discount Tire are generally polite and professionial. They do a really good job of meeting the customer needs.
