Provided by YP.comWe had a rough start to our shower glass fabrication and install to say the least, but were working with Rice's only as a third party hired by our contractor.
Shortly after the original pieces were installed and once the natural light allowed, a large number of scratches were visible, and we had been quite careful to follow the only care instructions we were aware of. Nonetheless, once we got past the initial blame game, the owner, Alton, went above and beyond to work with us, directly - with the contractor out of the mix - and we were able to reach an agreement of essentially "no fault" to get new glass fabricated and installed - which was done in an extremely timely manner. And that glass does not appear to have any scratches after being in for a couple weeks now and plenty of sunny days to inspect it.
I am happy to recommend them and would certainly consider using them for future projects; however, I would also caution anyone looking into projects beyond standard windows and who has never dealt with glass or glass companies on that scale before to ask as many questions as possible up front and be sure to have a clear, shared understanding of the expectations in the industry for blemishes and any other potential concerns that can arise with glass, such as how natural light will expose every minuscule defect.
