De Soto Pharmacy is a large locally owned independent pharmacy centrally located in the San Fernando Valley on the corner of DeSoto & Roscoe Boulevards. Established in 1959, DeSoto Pharmacy has become a cornerstone of our rich local culture. Our large customer base, to whom our talented and loyal staff speak Spanish, Tagalog, Vietnamese, and other languages. These skills enable us to serve a diverse population, including multi-generation families that have been customers for decades. DeSoto Pharmacy accepts 99% of pharmacy insurance plans including Medi-Cal, Anthem Blue Cross, Caremark, Aetna, Health Net, Cigna and many more. Our patient services include vaccinations, Medication Therapy Management, diabetic shoes, home health care equipment, medical supplies, and delivery service is available. Jerry’s Soda Shoppe was added in 1996 featuring Lappert’s, Fosselman’s, and Cascade Ice Creams. Our signature chocolate dipped ice cream soda was named “Best Ice Cream Treat in California” in the Food Network Magazine and was featured on the Cooking Channel in the show ”Ice Cream Nation” originally airing in 2013.
