General Info

Central High School offers education to students in grades nine through 12. Its academic curriculum includes English, business studies, science, mathematics, social studies, physical education, performing arts, and family and consumer science. The school offers classes in various disciplines of performing arts that include choir, string orchestra, jazz ensemble, theater and film production. Additionally, it provides classes in a range of foreign languages that include French, Italian, Latin, Portuguese, Spanish, Japanese and Mandarin Chinese. The school also offers a range of sports activities that include baseball, basketball, football, soccer, volleyball, cheerleading, cross country, softball, lacrosse, tennis, wrestling, and track and field. Central High School is a part of Bridgeport Public Schools and is located in Bridgeport, Conn.
