I have never had a dentist go above and beyond! I had to get my front crowns replaced. I had an accident as a child and have had them replaced every 7 years. We moved to Blowing Rock and I needed a new dentist. I have never had a dentist take so much time with me. He sent the crowns back 3 times. He wanted them to be perfect. I have never liked my teeth. They have always looked fake and gray. He made them perfect! Dr. Barkley has fantastic bed side manner, as well. I will never go anywhere else. Now I know what to expect from a dentist...perfect work and a great personality! Thank you so much, Dr. Barkley, for giving me my smile back!!

One visit, so far. Very impressed. Not to say I'm happy about 5 cavities and a root canal needed (that my previous dentist "missed"), I'm thankful this practice was able to get me in as quick as they did. They even have someone who is willing to explain the process in as much detail as you need and help with questions as to cost! Very impressed. It may be a blessing in disguise that my previous "dentist" is now out of network. If he would have left me know I had a cavity in tooth #4 (it is huge and I do not know how he could have missed it), we may have been able to prevent my upcoming root canal! When this dentist was told about the pain I was having, he actually looked, tapped, iced and examined the area in detail where the pain was. My last dentist said, "Open wide", looked in only with his eyes and said, "everything looks great!" I knew then that I needed to seek another opinion. Thankful for Dr. Barkley.
