AULD Investment Properties are a joke!Paid them full six months rent in advance, never broke the lease, and got along well with neighbors. Though the resident manager, Lenay Shaw, and property Manager, Andrea Bennett are racist, habitual liars.I had Lenay come up to my apartment, slamming on my door threatening to kick my two children and me out of my apartment if my boyfriend continued to live there. Which he was not to begin with and actually lived in separate units behind me. He did not visit me for the rest of the week and on the weekend that he did, Lenay left a 30 days notice on my door. She continued to stalk us and left multiple notes on my door even after I left sincere message to her on apologizing for how SHE felt. After my boyfriend was stalked by Lenay, he went to speak with her which ended up in petty drama. Involving her threatening to call the police if he were to be on the property and also called for Andrea to show up. Once Andrea showed up, I also went to talk to the property managers without my boyfriend, just my children and me.Andrea continued to threaten to give me a three day notice and make comments on how bad she feels for me, such as; "you should go find your parents," "you and your children are in a bad spot and deserve better," (talking about my boyfriend), "you need to find some help, a good church, and friends, and find your parents."Also continued to state that I was breaking the lease even further if my parents were to be at my house while I was at work and they were retrieving diapers or clothes for my children, though that is no where stated on the lease. All the while bouncing up and down in her chair yelling "push me again, push me again and I will evict you in three days!" because I was challenging her verbal lies about the lease.Lenay never had problems with the other tenants bringing their girlfriends over for weeks at a time, or the fact that another tenant's girlfriend would come over randomly and leave her kids in the hot car (honking, yelling, fighting with eachother) while she was upstairs for 30 to 45 minutes at a time. Which makes me believe that she doesn't like the fact that my boyfriend is a different color than me, or that maybe she just has a thing out for men since her divorce. And to say that the apartment was filthy? I took a video and had my whole family there to help me clean since I was short on time, for I am a student, full time employee, and a single mom. Also the blinds that I was charged for were filthy with caked on dust and oil before I even moved in.*Another incident: The stairs that leads up to my apartment were extremely dangerous. The wood was uneven, chipped, and so steep that they may be out of code. To make this worse, they stapled rubber to them, making the steps very slick when wet or snowy. My neighbor had complained to Lenay and Andrea multiple times and nothing was ever done. Management hardly ever had the snow removed from the steps. If they did, it was usually already 11am or salt was just thrown on. My sister slipped and fell down the steps due to the snow that was built up, causing torn ligaments, doctor bills, multiple days off of work, and continuous problems. I had notified Lenay on what had happened and she never responded to the incident. Not even one acknowledgement. The only reason I post this is because I want others to be aware. If you know me then you know that I don't ever complain about anything and that I am strong headed and will take on any situation on my own. So if I make a great deal out of something, it is for a reason.I am not trying to pursue anything because I don't have the time and honestly could care less about dealing with these people any further. I have found similar complaints about Lenay and AULD.

Auld Investment Properties is a SCAM BUSINESS. They "never received" my written notice and when my move out date came around they were "shocked" I was leaving (even though I had told the property manager over the phone a month prior that I was leaving AND turned in my 30 days notice in writing). They generously gave me the option to pay for another 30 days or be sent to collections. Then after move-out they proceeded to bill me for pre-existing damages to the apartment (mini blinds, screens, kitchen sink) and sent me a bill which said I only paid a $300 deposit when I actually paid $500! Their main office is a joke and the whole business is bent on ripping off unsuspecting renters. As far as I'm concerned, they are nothing more than white collar criminals.
