I hired Tad to defend me in a DWI case I thought was nearly unwinnable - after seriously considering saving the money I would have spent on a lawyer and accepting the standard DWI plea deal. On the summons, the arresting officer claimed I had admitting being drunk. I was also summonsed for aggravated unlicensed driving while the case was open. Last week, Tad arranged a deal of 49 hours pre-plea community service and a charge reduction from misdemeanor DWI to DWAI(a violation, not even a crime). I made a monumental mistake, and I was all butconvinced that this was one of those mistakes that would affect me for the rest of my life and it was too late to do anything about it. Tad never used unrealistic expectations to "sell himself";nor did he make any promises he couldn't keep. He was warm and cordial with me and my family and confident without the slightest bit of arrogance-which meant a lot in such an uncertain situation.
