Deenie's Bed & Biscuit Inc. is a full service pet boarding and grooming facility. We specialize in dog grooming and pet boarding. Deenie Sullivan is a Master Groomer who has been servicing pet owners in the Bloomington/Normal area for over 25 years. Following her graduation from the International Pet Institute, Deenie began working at a local grooming shop for Ken Busher. In 1983 Deenie opened her first grooming shop in Bloomington/Normal. As the years progressed, so did her business. In 1999 Deenie opened her first boarding facility where services such as grooming, boarding and daycare would be offered. Because it was such a huge success, Deenie saw a need for expansion. In September 2006, she found the perfect location for her current boarding facility: a 7500 square foot, state-of-the-art business with your pet's best interest in mind and heart. The building includes heated floors in the kennels, indoor and outdoor runs, large outdoor play areas covered with synthetic grass, playground equipment and an outdoor bone-shaped swimming pool (the only one of its kind in the area). The grooming area was specially designed to create a stress-free environment for your pet. Our facility is also equipped with a separate geriatric ward for elderly and special-needs pets.

I have always been extremely pleased with the grooming. I have never found anyone to be rude. They are extremely busy and I'm sure there are some days the front receptionist is not able to shoot the breeze with everyone. One time Deenie was unexpectedly called away and I was called to reschedule. The dog I have groomed is a Pomeranian which is extremely time consuming and belongs to my mother who lives in Tuscola. Due to all the mileage, a groomer worked him in anyway. I'd call that above and beyond since this could not be decided until the end of the day before. GOOD JOB, EVERYONE.
I don't know how this place stays open. The girls at the counter are rude, don't smile when they take your money, and act like you are bothering them. Too bad because they actually did a nice job on my dog! I believe the only thing that really sells your business is the service customers receive and I am definitely not sold on this one. I give it a one star for the grooming.
I dropped my dog off for boarding on a Thurs. at 4 pm and told them I would pick him up on Sat. They advised me that they closed at 1 pm on Sat. I let them know I would pick up my pet between 12 and 1 pm. When I went to pick up Ozzie, my pooch, they told me I was being charged an extra $20 since I didn't pick him up before 11 am. While they were searching for my dog's collar, another client showed up to pick her dog up and was told the same thing. Neither of us were advised of the cut off time for the extra $20 charge. The owner,. Deenie, was out of town and would not be available for another week. No other managers were available to issue a refund.
