I've gone J and P Auto and Truck Repair for years to have my car inspected. They were recommended by a neighbor. I've found the people there friendly and professional. Today I took my car there for an oil change and to have my brakes inspected. I was shocked when I went to pick up my car and got the bill. $53.00 for an oil change? The mechanic explained to me that the cost of oil has gone up considerably. OK, but $53.00 for an oil change? I thought that was extremely high. However, the quote they gave for a brake job seemed reasonable. The jury is out.
