My son bought two pair of eyeglasses. The nose guards kept falling off. Then when I asked him how the glasses were working out, he said one pair kept turning his face green. When he took them in for replacement, they wanted to charge him for a new pair. Buyer beware when shopping for product and service at Budget Optical Baytown.

I used to work for this Dr. and I am probably the "assistant" he yelled at. He is very very rude, does not consider anyone and does not show up for work to see his patients. He always makes mistakes when writing down people prescriptions and we always had people come back to either get their money back or get a different prescription. The eye exams are cheap BUT you end up paying more because you have to go to another Dr. to get a correct eye exam. I can give a few examples of what he would do when I worked there. If two elderly people would come in for eye exams he would usally prescribe the same prescription for the both of them or he would yell at them. Another thing that he does is, if you go in for an eye exam for glasses but then you change your mind and you want an exam for contact lenses he will just write a prescription of the top of his head. When the Dr. would show up for work he was usually hungover or still drunk from the night before..... I DO NOT recommend this person at all....... Dont throw away $39.00!

I went to my SCHEDULED exam, was kept waiting over an hour past my scheduled time, then the doctore left the office with out even glancing at all of his patients. When his assistant tried to let him know he had just a few more to see he yelled at her and said he was running late. I had to reschedule, I shouldn't have but the exam is so cheap I knew I wouldn't find a better deal. On my next appointment he did my exam for contacts but forgot to write my perscription and measurements down. I had to wait for him to get done with the next customer before I could get my perscription. Then we he was told about it he just wrote it down on the spot, I doubt his memory is that good to remember the customer's perscription before the one he just examined. When I received my contacts they were very uncomfortable, I told him I thought they were too big for my eyes because I was having such a hard time getting them in and I could feel them under my eyelids. HE LAUGHED AT ME and didn't even acknowledge my comment. He gave me a different brand trial pair, I noticed once I was home that he changed my perscription with out even telling me. I finally got glasses with that perscription and know for a fact that it was the wrong perscription. I am so upset with dealing with him I am just going to go to a completely different doctor, get a new exam that will cost me more money in the long run. DO NOT GO TO "DR." S.L.KELSEY he is very rude and unprofessional and a quack, you get what you pay for.

The people their are extremely polite, courteous, and very professional. The prices are reasonable and you get excellent service.
