The Staff at El Maguey in Bartlesville, Oklahoma are in tune with one another like a fine machine. They all are dressed impeccably tasteful, have the manners and training to keep everyone comfortable and please. The atmosphere is beautifully designed. The booths are all brand new and now one will leave unsatisfied or hungry. If you need to get in and out for lunch on time it can be done. I was in there when it was crowed and now when it was less so. I was very pleased both times. The Margaritas are top shelf. I was born and raised in California in the homes of many Mexican friends. I miss real Mexican food that we had in California so readily. They do a very good job to satisfy many taste even if some of the names are changed from what we grew up knowing them. Chef's do like to give their signature twist to a name on food. Go to El Maguey on High 75. You will not regret it. Check out the beautiful chandelier and other lighting fixtures. Best Mexican food in Ok. Enchiladas w/ chipotle sauce -fabulous -food actually has spices & taste. The warm salsa is superb!! No el patio TV dinner special here -family of 5 -very impressed with our delicious -some spicy -food that is seasoned to perfection.
