- Our grooming process is different than most because we are using premium professional grooming products, sanitizing tools to the barber standards for human hair, shaving hair under paws and between toes, filing nails rounded rather than clipping them, maintaining teeth routinely to prevent plaque and tartar buildup, and groom dogs around the scheduling convenience of our clients.

Perfect Pooch Grooming located in Austin, TX has been in business for over 10 years now. We are a Father-Daughter business team and believe in top quality grooming for dogs. We are certified groomers by the National Dog Grooming Association of America (NDGAA). We have a grooming shop location near Braker & Lamar and a Mobile Unit serving North, Central, & West Austin areas. We also provide a dog sitting service for when our clients are out of town and daily care for their dogs is needed. We have over 15 years of experience working with animals.

Excellent groomers!!
My dogs are getting old, and the mobile service is great for them.
If they have ever been groomed with better results, I do not remember it. They looked beautiful with perfect coats and feet and ears!
Not only do Jim and Caroline do an outstanding job with every detail of grooming,but they show a sincere concern for the the pets.
And if they charge more than some grooming services, it is more than worth the difference. I feel like we got really great value.

Perfect Pooch Grooming came to our rescue after one of our dogs had a bad experience at a chain pet store. They took time with me to explain their procedure and also their experience and philosophy of grooming. They are caring, professional, and friendly. I would recommend Perfect Pooch grooming to anyone that wants an experienced groomer that truly cares about the clients they serve.
I have been using Perfect Pooch Grooming for over 4 years and have always been satisfied with the service. I have used both the shop and mobile grooming as well as boarding services Perfect Pooch Grooming offers. Jim (and recently his daughter Caroline), are very easy going and always able to handle the very different personalities of all my dogs and they always return to me stress free.
You get what you pay for. I learned this a long time ago, and while Jim's service may cost more than the average dog groomer, your dog will appreciate it.
1) He comes to you on your schedule. right to your house. Always on time.
2) My dog has sensitive skin, (he is a Westie), and the products used don't irritate him.
3) It is always the same groomer - not whoever is available. This builds trust with my dog.
4) Your dog is the only one being groomed, so you don't have to worry about other dogs creating an unfriendly environment
5) No dryer boxes.
6) Nail filing, instead of cutting - safer and gentler.
