General Info
We are proud of our staff and business. We put forth every effort to provide you and your pet comfortable and clean surroundings. We have the most up-to-date equipment in a newly remodeled facility. I am a 1993 graduate of CSU's Veterinary Medical Program. I worked in several clinics in Colorado and Oregon and decided my true passion is emergency and critical care medicine. I have been primarily doing this type of practice for the last 13 years. I am a member of the Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care Society since 1999. I am also a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, the Colorado Veterinary Medical Association, the Denver Area Veterinary Medical Society, the American Association of Feline Practitioners, MENSA, and a charter member of the Peak to Peak Rotary Club. I am fortunate to have a loving family to support me in my long and unusual hours in emergency care! My husband, Donel Conley, and I have been together for 20 years. We have two beautiful daughters, Erin(15) and Kerry(13), who are busy with school and activities and helping out here at Animal Urgent Care. They have been helping with animals since birth! They were my companions for many years of house call practice, and still spend hours cleaning, answering phones, and petting some of our sick patients. We have had many pets over the years including horses, goats, hamsters, dogs, cats, and even a pigeon that we rescued from DIA's parking garage! Right now we are down to 2 dogs (Clara and Sunshine) and 4 cats (Cougars, Harry, Keifer, and Bobo). All of the cats have been rescued from various places.
